Wedding photography at Byre at Inchyra - Steve and Michelle

12th September 2014

This was the first wedding I had photographed in an old cattle barn which when I was told about it by Michelle and Steve, it was difficult for me to imagine. I was brough up in the country and my Uncle owned a farm in which my cousins and I used to help feed the lambs and such like. It was going to be interesting anyway. When I arrived at The Byre at Inchyra of cource it was nothing like my Uncles cow barn, it was gorgeous. Michelle and Steve had put so much work into making it look so great. They had put so many little things around the barn to really personalise it. When I had spoke to Michelle and Steve before the day they said that thier ceremony would take place inside the barn in candle light. This consered me slightly as photogrpahy and candle light are not alwyas at ease with each other. Never the less the ceremony was very atmospheric and I was able to capture what was going on. The rest of the day flew by for me as there was so much to photograph and so many places to to pick. Here is how their wonderful day went:

What a trully fantastic day I had in the old cow shead. I loved the fact that Michelle and Steve had the theme of the hightland cows throughout the day, even on the top of their cheese weding cake. G x
