Wedding photography at Solsgirth House - Ronnie and Karen

6th October 2015

I was lucky enough to be back in Solsgirth House for the second time this year for the wedding of Ronnie and Karen. What a beautiful day we got weather wise, so lucky. The getting ready shots were great fun. Firstly the best man forgot the chain for his sporan but I went on the hunt for a guest who who give me their chain. I eventually got one from a very kind guest (thanks Alistair!). The girls then wanted a jumping on the bed shot. I was a bit nervous of this as the Mum in me thought of the potential hazards of broken limbs. Thankfully no broken limbs. After that Ronnie sent a messanger to Karens room with a gift that he thought would make her cry. It was a tiny personilised message in a bottle that had the desired effect on Karen. The day went along from there with a beautiful ceremony in the ballroom then outside for the drinks reception. It was fantastic for everyone to be outside all day at the end of September. The meal and speaches were back in the ballroom then Karen and Ronnie walked through an archway of sparkelers that all their guests were holding to the marque where the band played a strip the willow for their first dance.  It was great to also meet and work with Jo fromBowery Productions. Here is how their perfect day went:

I would like to thanks Ronnie and Karen for allowing me to photograph their wedding. It was a wonderful day. G x
