The beautiful wedding of Chan and Ashley at House for an Art Lover in Glasgow.

This wonderful couple traveled all the way from San Francisco to Glasgow for their wedding because of their love for the city and Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s architecture.

It was such a thrill be able to capture their special day. I think it was a testament to how loved this couple are that so many family and friends traveled from California to be with them at their wedding,

The whole day was filled with joy and laughter and Ashley even played a beautiful piece of music on the piano in the appropriately named music room,  much to the guests delight.

At the end of the weekend I felt like I had made two new friends in Chan and Ashley, which I will be forever grateful for.

Thanks guys. G x

The incredable wedding of Sophie and Keith at House for an Art lover.

This venue is really one of my favourites for so many reasons. I love the architecture and the stunning grounds, it just ticks all the boxes!

I sdored Sophie’s dress from Needle and thread and she had a short version for the evening, great idea!

Such a beautiful autumnal day it was for wedding of Siobhan and Jonas at House for an Art Lover in Glasgow.

Siobhan and Jonas are both classical musicians who met through their love of Mozart when Siobhan moved to Sweden. Although they both live in Stockholm they wanted a Scottish wedding and House for an Art Lover was the place for them.

I loved seeing some of the Swedish wedding traditions like having coffee and doughnuts after the ceremony and party games at the speeches.
Such an amazing day filled with music, fun and laughter!

The very chic Parisian/ Scottish wedding of Charlotte and Nicolas at the amazing House for an Art Lover in Glasgow.

The couple lived in Paris but wanted a Scottish wedding as Charlotte’s parents were Scottish.

So may elements of the day were  stylish and especially Charlotte’s red wedding dress, so different and totally perfect for her. I loved her gold Bobbie shoes that just complemented her red dress beautifuly.

The cake that the couple had made was something else. Like a work of art in itself, I have never seen a cake quite like this. There was a theme of art going through the day with every table named after a female artist.

Such  a great energy from the Bride and Groom all day at this beautiful wedding.
