This was my first ever wedding at Rowallan Castle in Ayrshire and its now one of my favourite venues!
Such beautiful historic grounds paired with amazing interiors. Little pockets of light everywhere which us photographers love.
Stewart and Victoria were brought up in Scotland and met at school. They now live in the US but came back to Scotland to celebrate their wedding with family and friends . The day was just perfect with a few rain showers now and again which I didn’t mind as we got a stunning rainbow picture, so for once the rain was worth it.
I loved that after the meal the venue had cocktail hour for the guests which was a great idea.
I hope to be back to Rowallan soon and another rainbow would be just ideal!

I have been a professional photographer since 1995, after studying at the Glasgow College of Building and Printing (now City of Glasgow College). I began working at a press agency before moving on to PR agency in Glasgow. This experience led me to start my own business – Gail Photography. I believe that photography is capturing moments in time that will last a lifetime.
