Emily and Henry’s wedding at The Tall Ship, Glasgow

I was so excited to be the wedding photographer for Emily and Henry.  Their wedding was at The Tall Ship in Glasgow.

It is one of Glasgow’s most interesting landmarks, situated on the River Clyde right next to the transport museum. Henry’s family had a navel connection so this venue was perfect for them.

I started the day at the couple’s house where Emily and her family were getting ready.

This gave the opportunity for lots of fun candid shots of Emily getting into her beautiful dress.

I then headed to the Tall Ship where all the days celebrations were taking place.

The ceremony was on the ship’s deck. What a spectacular place for a wedding ceremony, and what a background for a wedding photographer!

Luckily we had amazing weather so after the ceremony all the guests stayed on deck for the drinks reception.

The ship has some quirky spots for photography and of course you have the backdrop of the stunning transport museum, designed by Zaha Hadid.

Once it was time for the meal everyone went below deck (I love saying that). After some speeches and beautiful food it was time for the dancing.

Emily and Henry had a ceilidh, which I love to photograph.

We were also lucky enough to have an amazing sunset so we ran on deck and got some beautiful shots.

Loved every minute of the day as wedding photographer for a truly lovely couple!
