Lisa and Pete's wedding at Dalduff Farm
When I first met Lisa and Pete and discussed their wedding I was very interested. Having been brought up in the country I really relished the idea of photographing a wedding at Dalduff farm, in Ayrshire. I went down to have a look before the wedding and it looked fantastic. Loads of potential for great shots.
I first went to a house in the west end of Glasgow that Lisa had rented for the weekend for all of her family to get ready. It was great for light, and massive. Lisa had opted for a vintage look for hair and make up which I loved! She used the company Pin Up's who did a fantastic job
The ceremony was at Pete's family church in town and then all the guests were bused down to the venue in Ayrshire.
The couple had done a lot of the work themselves and had put on an afternoon tea for their guests. After that, everyone enjoyed the drinks reception in the outbuilding and Lisa and Pete had arranged for loads of games for their nieces and nephews to play with. It was then time for the meal followed by speeches. It was such a chilled out day with everyone enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. Finally it was time for the ceilidh band which got everyone on the dance floor.
What a fantastic day they had and I so enjoyed being a part of it. G x
