Rebecca and David's wedding photography at Glenbervie house hotel

18th March 2020

My favourite thing about Glenbervie House is the long tree lined road that leads up to the house. I love it! So I was very much looking forward to returning there for David and Rebecca's wedding.

Rebecca was getting ready at the hotel. I always feel this makes things easier in the morning as the bride just walks down stairs to get married once she is ready.

I loved the couples little features of the day like the 'I do" ring boxes and the personalised cufflinks David wore with "I love you Rebecca" engraved on them. So sweet!

I went between the upstairs of the hotel and downstairs photographing the girls getting ready and everyone arriving.

It was then time for the ceremony in the lounge of the hotel. When Rebecca walked up the aisle David was full of emotion. I love being a witness to such events in peoples lives.

After the ceremony all the guests went outside for a large group shot. I then took some pictures on my favourite spot of the hotel -  the long tree lined driveway.

It was such beautiful warm day all the guests stayed outside for the drinks. I also used a rhododendron tree for some shots. The beautiful purple flowers were amazing.

We then headed in for the speeches and meal. I do love photographing speeches. This is a part of the day that is completely candid and really suits my style. You also find out hilarious things about the Bride and Groom!

After the meal many of the guests headed outside until the first dance. Such good pictures on the dance floor with everyone having loads of fun!

I would like to thank Rebecca and David for allowing me to be a part of their day. G x
