What’s that famous saying? Never work with children or animals! Well that’s because chidren will pretty much do what they want, so when I photograph them thats exactly what I want them to do! That’s why when I do my portrait sessions with children I like them to be in their own environment. Be that their own home, garden, favourite park or play area.
My approach when photographing children has always been the same – make them feel at ease and you will get great pictures. From my years of photographing chidren for the Times Educational Supplement, to photographing my own children, it has always been a fun experience. My relaxed attitude to child and family portrait sessions will give you great memories to cherish forever.
My photography sessions are at a place of your choosing. As I mentioned before, a park or your own back garden usually works best. For very young children and babies the best place for the photo shoot is in your house.
I have three child and family portrait packages which are detailed below
One hour session for £190 which includes ten 7×5 prints and four digital files of your choosing from my online gallery.
One- two hour session for £310 which includes your own personalised USB memory stick containing all of the high resolution images in it’s own presentation box. This also comes with twelve 7×5 prints of your choosing.
Three photo sessions of your child and family within an 18 month period for £650.
With each package you can buy further prints, digital files and USB sticks. You can also add on a 8×8 inch photo album for £90 which is designed by me.
I also offer a framed picture service. A great idea for a gift or for your own home.
I have been a professional photographer since 1995, after studying at the Glasgow College of Building and Printing (now City of Glasgow College). I began working at a press agency before moving on to PR agency in Glasgow. This experience led me to start my own business – Gail Photography. I believe that photography is capturing moments in time that will last a lifetime.
