Gail was the fairy godmother I didn't know I needed at our wedding. She had the perfect balance of fitting in to parts of the day while being so discreet at times you forgot she was there. Gail did an amazing job with our wedding photos, she was so professional and efficient in getting all of our requested shots! Gail photographed our wedding back in February 2022 and to say she was was amazing would be an understatement. Gail did a wonderful job on our wedding day. She was very organised (even with a huge amount of family photos requested!) She was very friendly but firm enough to get people to hurry up which was great haha. She went above and beyond, even lying on the ground to get couple photos of us. Gail is an exceptional wedding photographer, she went out of her way to give us amazing photos and was so organised. We literally have hundreds of favourite photos and cannot recommend her enough. She clearly knows what she’s doing and you will be able to relax and not worry about your pictures with her in charge!
We booked Gail for our wedding which was meant to be in 2020, but was postponed 3 times. Gail was fabulous during this time and so understanding. She even quarantined from her family so she could be there! Our guests thought she was fantastic too. She blended into our day but at the same time made everything easy and relaxed. She listened to everything we wanted and made it happen. We absolutely love all our photos, so hard to choose which to add to our album.
I honestly can’t recommend Gail enough. Neither me nor my husband like having our photo taken but with Gail it was effortless we barely remembered that there was a photographer and we love our photos
Gail was amazing on our big day. We were both very nervous about getting our pictures taken however she made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Gail was a part of our Scottish wedding, which took part in the east end of the city at St Luke’s and the winged ox. She was very considerate , as she took us for an initial walk through of our location and surrounding areas, giving great suggestions to photo shoot moments of our big day. On the day we were unable to be outside but she didn’t let that stop her and we were able to use the indoor space for some great shots! She spent most of the night with us and the party, taking natural and candid pictures of speeches, dancing, food and other events. Gail was also able to rattle through many big family and friends pictures to capture every person who attended the wedding. Finally, due to the weather and the inability to go for the amazing photo shoot in Barrowlands on the day, Gail met up with us on another day through the week so we could capture some of the amazing scenery and iconic features of the Glasgow venue! We are very thankful to Gail for her time, and expertise. She captured so many amazing moments and pictures we are happy to frame!
We worked with Gail for our wedding in June 2021. Gail was able to adapt to the forever changing restrictions (and Glasgow weather!) and really put us at ease. Despite our small group, Gail managed to get fantastic candid photos and photos around some of our favourite Glasgow landmarks. She really took the stress out the day and we were over the moon with the results. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
Gail was quite simply amazing! I thought it was my bias that had me beaming at every single wedding photo but the comments from those who have seen them since have been equally as delighted. Our rescheduled date had us arranging the wedding details with just 6 weeks to go but Gail put our minds at ease and nothing was a problem. Gail was our wedding photographer in August 2021. Gail was amazing from start to finish. We had 2 postponed dates due to covid and Gail helped put us at ease and changed our dates. We had a zoom meeting with Gail before our wedding and she really listened to what we wanted and what photos were most important to us. Gail was our photographer back in November 2020, and safe to say she had the patience of a saint ! (Considering we got married on our 4th date due to covid ) Gail was so accommodating and moved with ease to our new dates in such uncertain times. We spoke on the phone beforehand due to restrictions but she was so helpful and thorough in explaining how it would all work! On the day of the wedding she was such a calming influence and especially on the morning of our big day it felt so natural (almost as though she wasn’t there ) and she just blended in with us all getting ready, giggling and laughing along When we got our photos we were over the moon with them all! A large amount of beautifully natural pictures…. with some posed, as I had specifically asked for us to have one with our beloved Labrador, Sid! Gail did an amazing job capturing him at his best (what is it they say about working with animals / children ) She also made us famous with a wee appearance in almost every Scottish tabloid that weekend with her wonderful pictures as we got married on Friday the 13th ! Almost a year later I still feel such joy looking at the pictures we have about the house. Thank you again Gail, you’re wonderful !
What can I say? From start to finish Gail was outstanding. Such a lovely girl which makes everything just so simple. She took the time to familiarise herself with the venue (which changed) and spent lots of time ensuring she understood exactly what we wanted from her. Throughout the turbulent time and the changes that ensued, nothing was any trouble at all. On the day the wedding Gail was just like one of the wedding party, so at ease and fitted in just perfectly. We were all so relaxed with her and Gail with us which made it fun rather than an effort. Gail was fantastic with everyone, oldies, kids and our wee puppy too! She kept everything on time and was overall absolutely superb. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. The proof was most certainly in the pudding when not only did a lovely selection of photographs arrive the next day which was just fantastic, the photographs where exceptional. Everything we could have hoped for captured in such a natural and relaxed way. Within a week I have access to all my proofs and the pictures just get better and better. In summary, Gail was fantastic in every way and the finished product testament to that! Couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you so much.

I want to say a massive thank you to Gail for photographing our wedding at Sorn Castle. She made us feel so relaxed from the first time we met to the day of our wedding. We used Gail for our wedding at House for an Art Lover in November. We loved the look of her photos and from our first meeting onwards she was the perfect choice. She kept in touch with us in the run up to our wedding, so we knew what to expect on the day and so she knew what we wanted from our photographs. We also felt comfortable getting in touch with Gail if there was anything we wanted to ask. On the day she was brilliant, and I have had countless comments from our family and friends about how lovely our photographer was and how she put them at ease. She also enabled us to spend time at our drinks reception and talk to our guests, which was great as so many of the weddings I’ve been to the bride and groom have been caught up taking photos until right up to the meal, whereas we felt we had more time to enjoy our day. She was also able to capture some really amazing candid shots throughout the day and made us both feel really comfortable, which is a feat considering we both normally hate posing for photos. Our photos were online the day we returned from our honeymoon and they perfectly capture the emotion of our wedding day. In fact they were so good that we struggled to narrow down the ones we wanted for our album. Even after our wedding as we picked our design for our USB and our album, she has been quick to reply to our emails and as helpful as always. This has also included helping family members who’ve wanted to order our photos in different formats. I honestly couldn’t fault Gail’s work, she’s a consummate professional but is an incredibly warm person who fitted in perfectly to our day. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
When searching for a wedding photographer for our 03 Aug wedding at House for an Art Lover, we looked for portfolios with bright images and a natural, candid style. Gail's photos matched perfectly with what we wanted. It didn't hurt that she's photographed at the venue dozens of times so we had plenty of reference images. Communication prior to the wedding was great and we went into the day with no concerns. Day of the wedding and Gail blended right in, capturing all the best moments. We lucked out on the day with some perfect evening lighting, so Gail pulled us outside for a few minutes to take some additional photos. We've just received our images back less than two weeks from the wedding--and they are amazing! We're truly happy with Gail's work and would 100% recommend her.

Gail Photography was a brilliant choice for our wedding photos from start to finish! We approached Gail after seeing her extensive portfolio on her website. We were instantly drawn to the style and quality of the photos. Each wedding had the perfect balance of detail, traditional photos, candid shots, and personality! We first met Gail at her home office where she blew us away with her portfolio and her attitude to capturing the personal aspects of a wedding. In the run up to the wedding Gail was very accommodating in planning what we wanted for the day and was happy to travel to our venue. On the big day Gail was extremely professional, smartly presented and arrived early to capture people getting ready and guests arriving. Gail was never intrusive or controlling of the action, rather she kept to the background and snapped away as the day unfolded. Most of the time we forgot she was there! Gail was also happy to work with/around our videographer. We were impressed by Gail's ability to think on her feet and react to the changeable weather and light. Luckily the sun popped out for a few minutes, enough to get down to the local beach and get some truly breath-taking pictures! We chose to go for the USB option to receive our photos, rather than the traditional album options that were available. We received this very quickly, and the photos were of an excellent quality! They included everything from the traditional shots, to action shots throughout the day, and small memorable details like buttonholes, and views of the venue. We would both highly recommend Gail for your wedding!
We used Gail at our wedding at Gean House (Alloa) she was so professional and friendly and did everything in her power to make sure we had a fantastic day and captured every single minute with ease!! We had bright sunshine and she was able to pick out great areas for photos so the light was perfect- and made sure we caught all the group shots that were important to us and also lots of candid moments that we will remember forever! She was extremely quick to process the photos, edit and get them back to us, as we were leaving to come back to Oz ! We are so grateful!! Gail photographed our wedding on the 3rd March, the week before there was a terrible storm which threated the wedding. Gail travelled from Glasgow to Dunbar for us and really went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure we got some truly special photos,she must have been absolutely freezing in all that snow but she didn't once let on and was professional, dignified and excellent to work with. Could not have asked for more and our wedding photos are absolutely stunning. Thank you Gail.

Gail Photographed our wedding at St Columbkille's Church and at Boclair House Hotel on 14th October 2017. When looking for our wedding photographer we loved the look of Gail's reportage style, so we arranged to go and meet her for a chat and we knew instantly that she would be a perfect fit for us. She was extremely professional and really listened to what we wanted from our day. On the wedding day Gail was very efficient, and managed to capture so many fantastic moments without being intrusive, with us being completely unaware of her and her camera for the majority of the day! Gail was amazing on our wedding day last week. Due to the December date we were fighting against the fading light but Gail was so organised and managed to get our beautiful photos taken very quickly. Gail is a very professional photographer who helped us to maintain a very relaxed feel throughout our wedding day. She went above and beyond to help us ensure the day flowed perfectly. Choosing a female photographer was definitely a huge plus when she had to help me into my dress because we were tight on time. Gail photographed our wedding at House for An Art Lover on 6 May 2016, she was an absolutely fantastic wedding photographer! Her friendly and helpful nature, made the decision of picking her as our wedding photographer so easy! She captured our day perfectly right down to the tiny details. We received a lovely personalised USB stick with our photos on it which came in a beautiful personalised box which we will treasure forever. Before the wedding, we talked to Gail about what we wanted in our pictures and nothing was an issue. Gail captured the beauty of the venue, our Alice in Wonderland theme and the happiness of the day. I love love love looking back over the pictures and remembering the laughs and cries we all had! I would definitely recommend Gail to any couple!
We had Gail photograph our wedding on the 26th of August. I had met with one or two photographers prior to meeting Gail however, when I met Gail I knew she would be perfect for what we were looking for & she is so warm & friendly. On the day she had hyper flowergirls, an unwell flowergirl, tipsy (????) bride & bridal party and the weather to contend with however, our pictures turned out absolutely stunning! She captured all the perfect shots and more. Afterwards she also helped me so much by sending a picture to the person who made our Thank You cards and she was very speedy in editing our pictures and sending out our USB. I can’t wait to see what our album looks like, knowing Gail it will be nothing short of perfect. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so so much Gail you’re amazing at what you do ❤️
Gail photographed my cousins wedding about 10 years ago I knew from then that I wanted Gail to photograph our special day. Her work is just beautiful! Gail was a fantastic photographer and we absolutely love our wedding pictures - they capture the magical essence of the day. My wife and I aren't comfortable getting our photographs taken but Gail was really personable and made us feel at ease. She is very professional and hard working. We had two venues; University of Glasgow and House for an Art Lover and Gail managed to take amazing pictures at both locations even with quite a tight timeframe. Our guests were really impressed by how much Gail captured on the day without being intrusive. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
Just had a look through my wedding photographs and they are just amazing so natural and captures many unforgettable times throughout the whole day. Hardly seen Gail all day apart from the family pics and rest of time she was in the background. But we got to the beach and have came out beautiful can't thank you enough from me and Michele. And the evening shots have left me speechless such a special ending to a very special day.

Gail photographed our wedding at Lochside Hotel and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She moved about so seamlessly you wouldn't have known she was there! I have been a professional photographer since 1995, after studying at the Glasgow College of Building and Printing (now City of Glasgow College). I began working at a press agency before moving on to PR agency in Glasgow. This experience led me to start my own business – Gail Photography. I believe that photography is capturing moments in time that will last a lifetime.
